Mahomes should be protected, but not just from Burfict. Didn't like what I saw on Sunday, we got lucky with the sore ankle instead of an ACL.
As far as Burfict he played a good game on Sunday. Guess Gruden must have made himself clear this was his last chance, never seen him so motivated and disciplined.
He's a talented MLB and if he somehow manages to not go "Burfict" he will be a great addition to that defense.

There were plenty of "dirty" players back in the day, and not only among the Raiders. Intimidating your opponent was a big part of the game those days, the one you mentioned are just some of them, and many are hall of famers.
The fact that they're turning football into a game for pussies today, doesn't make the players of yesterday "dirty".
They played by the rules of those days, including Jack Tatum.

I think this title is relative to the era in which they played. Clotheslines were standard tackling technique at the time. Would be pretty difficult to differentiate yourself.

Burfict is a pussy. He got laid out by scrawny ass JuJu. The dude just blindsides people. If a situation happens where Burfict is able to blindside Mahomes it's on Andy Reid 100%. It's a situation that shouldn't even be possible under smart playcalling.
