My obvious choices were Brandon Flowers, Sean Smith, Brandon Carr, and Charvarius Ward.
After that, I started thinking. Marcus Peters obviously has a ton of talent, but he seems to not fit in well with defenses. The fact that he's been dumped twice now for bargain bin prices tells me that he's not an all-decade guy. Steven Nelson? Nah. Phillip Gaines could have been a strong contender, but the knee injury stunted him. I like Fuller, and wow, that Super Bowl performance. He was our shutdown closer. But he's been beset by injuries, and he ended up more or less being a backup to Breeland and Rashad Fenton. As I look down the list, I don't see any other guys I would pick over Breeland and Fenton, so they're my choices for the final two slots. They really did their jobs when needed, and I really enjoy their Super Bowl win. And yeah, Fenton's never started a game. But he gets a lot of playing time and an all-decade team will only have two starters anyway.

Obviously I don't have every game memorized (I know, I'm a bad fan), but I kept seeing flashes from Terrence Mitchell (esp. that INT against Oakland), but then he just disappeared in other games. I just kept waiting for him to turn a corner, but he never did.

Peters, Flowers, Sean Smith, Carr, Ward and Breeland.
Hilariously, that is an incredibly solid group of CBs, but there's not an athlete in the bunch. They'd be over matched physically.. fesity and instinctual as hell though. |

I really thought Sean Smith was out of his depth, but then he suddenly showed up and went on to be a good CB.
