That's 90 percent of the issue anyone has with dc.

As listo and others have more than proved, it's not the antics or style of the poster, shitty right wing posters are prolific. Hell, calling people (insert banned word) is standard for right wingers now. There are a dozen or right wing posters who only shit post, insult, and troll. Threats to fight, called a kid (insert word) that's what I expect from some of those posters knowing full cp doesnt care.

Yet they will complain loudly and passionately posters arent using the website as they think they should. That seems to be a bigger issue that the amount of (insert banned word here) that gets thrown around.

Because as long as they politically agree with the right, they usually get a pass.

I used to post more often in DC, but now not nearly as much.

Followed many debates down bad faith arguments, and near instant name calling, in large part because my political beliefs were not main line of 95% of those in the lounge.

IMO, The issue with DC is that it’s really not open to other political views, it’s sensationalism commonly disguised as facts, sprinkled with worse, with a handful of bad actors as posters, and another small group of folks who actually “shitpost” in dm’s on a constant basis. Come to find out…

Maybe take a look at the shit that goes down in the background…some folks could use a healthy reset..

FWIW 95% of my pms are positive, I’ve sent <5 negative pms in 14 years. I have 1 person on ignore (racist hate got a bit much) and I’ve never reported a single poster or thread in memory…

How many can say that?

I’ve got about 3K posts in 14 years. Not 30K, not 60k…

And for the record, listo is also in my DM’s…and still I survive.

I have already talked to you about this. It was quite a while ago, and I very clearly stated my opinion. You tend to start threads with very obviously biased articles and post a few partisan comments in your OP. Your threads are fairly obviously inflammatory and you fairly obviously post them up to stir shit. Here's the thing: There is absolutely nothing wrong with that in my opinion. If that's how you choose to generate discussion then so be it. What's chickenshit is that you never stick around to defend your goofy ass articles. You plop some of the dumbest shit I've ever seen down on the forum and then run away. So, yeah, you do deserve to get shit flipped back at you in the form of neg rep (for instance) if you aren't going to stick around and discuss the very junk you're peddling. If you're going to grab your stick and stir the pot then don't cry when you end up splashing shit on yourself.

Be that as it may, no this is not what JPB or TJ does. They will stick around and engage people when they've made a comment or started a thread.
