Good God, the more you post the more I start to think that you are legitimately mentally challenged. Do you just comb through Twitter looking for personal shit about these players. I can only imagine what your search history looks like or what type of notifications you have set up. You're really creepy man and you obviously don't see how big of a stalker you look like. I cant even imagine wtf a player would think reading some of the creepy shit you write. I cant wait for Pat Mahomes to get a restraining order against you

I still have faith that Veach will get Jones signed. Though I have no idea how that might happen.
My off-the-cuff theory is something similar to what they did with Mahomes. No, not for $450 million, etc., but possibly a longer deal than usual for a DT so the Chiefs can absorb the bulk of the cap hit a few years down the line. The trick will be getting CJ to accept a little less money now for more money later. But both sides have said repeatedly that they want to stay together, so I'm fairly confident they'll get a deal done by the 15th. [crosses fingers] |

Ah, thx. Yeah, as I've said multiple times before, I haven' t a real clue how the whole contract/cap space thing works. I do enough math in my real life; never was interested in figuring out how the money works in sports.

Mahomes is literally going to count < $30mm against our cap for the next 6 years. It’s crazy how much flexibility Veach has created for himself with the Mahomes deal. I could see everyone doing this kind of thing from here on out on the big deals: - Almost no signing bonus at start - Player gets security with iron-clad injury balloon payment - Rolling roster bonuses let the team cut up the per year hit in 5 pieces each year - Forcing the team to do it a year in advance guarantees the team is spending on players - Since the team needs the player to restructure each year it gives the player more security that the team that is fielded is a good one and the coaching staff aren’t full of idiots — the player can pretty much force the team’s hand at any time giving additional security to the player. It really is genius. It takes you 4-5 years to get to a cap hit that equals what Mahomes is making and in year 6 they’ll presumably have the cap dollars to do it all again. |

Veering back to Chris Jones, I have been lurking on the 49ers sub since the Super Bowl. Jones is often referred to as "The Monster in the Middle."
There's still a huge debate among Niners fans over whether Shanny Jr. was correct in throwing the ball on 2nd and 5 in the 4th quarter. Poor dudes. |
