Veach looks at all the haters and says "Superbowl bitches..."

Amazing how we were losing our shit (most of us) back in October.

He was really active in Week 17 against the Chargers. Maybe his best game as a Chief.

No...his worst trade was moving up for Speaks.

He has been a complete non-factor...to the extent that many forget he is even on the team.

He would be a good weak side fill, but he's very injury prone.

I do not. Because I was right and it was pretty obvious to the folks that weren't busy fanboing. Might as well re-name this thread "Nut Schools Homers" and move along. And sadly, things only got worse from here.

Everything Veach has done to try to build around Mahomes has made this team worse, less flexible and more expensive. This thread is home to my least popular post ever on CP - an incredible 20 downvotes.

And it was a hell of a lot more accurate than anything else said in this thread. Grigson's Colts teams wasted the prime of Andrew Luck's career and all his cost-controlled seasons because he couldn't build a line around him, wasted his cost-controlled years and then spent 5 years chasing his tail trying to undo the mistakes he'd made. As we watch Mahomes either flee from pressure or stand on the sidelines while his defense folds, we should be asking ourselves if any of this looks familiar...

Like I said - the only difference right now between Veach and Grigson is time. Our QB is dinged up and running for his life. Our defense is ass. Our cap is about to be in pretty rough shape and tied up in mediocre players. Our draft capital is worse than it should be and there's an excellent chance we lose our best defensive player in the off-season in a hail-mary attempt to salvage a pick or two from a player we can't afford to keep.

The only thing that makes this team decent is Patrick Mahomes and Brett Veach has done everything in his power to !@#$ that up as well. Aces work, buddy.
Damn DJ, you took a victory lap several months early and face planted as hard as Lex in DC. You couldn't be more wrong in a post and this is a post where you are gloating about being right.

Oh yea he usually has extremely good tkes but he also has a fairly big blind spot when he is adamant about something. The problem with being so damn sure of yourself which he has reason to, and also liking to be long on words, it makes for some funny hindsight discussion when you are wrong.

Good luck, Niners!
They can get out from ford with only 20 mil paid and only 6.5 dead cap hit this year. A team trading for him would take on 13 mil guaranteed this year and then non guaranteed years of 14+. I'd say they could get a early 3rd for him based on that.

Maybe, but like when we tried to trade Justin Houston I expect opposing GM’s will call their bluff and wait for him to be released. This year he was a 3rd down rusher who missed half of the season. Much easier to imagine a team would be willing to give him a flyer but not willing to invest any draft capital to get him.

I’m not a GM, I could be wrong. But health and drive have always been a major question mark behind Dee’s game.
