Carl's contract bonus
For years i've been talking about what a snake oil salesman Carl Peterson is. People used to scoff and rant when i said that Peterson was more about the money then he was winning a super bowl. They were in denial when i said he didn't have any respect for the fans and was a liar.

Now people are coming around .... so how about another prediction about the great King Carl?!?

At least part of the Reason Carl Peterson has agreed to this "rebuilding effort" is because he's in the final couple season of his contract. Why you say? Because rebuilding teams don't give big bonus/contracts to veteran players. That lowers the salary cap and increases the profits for the organization.

Carl Peterson the President is gonna get a huge salary profit bonus in these last few years in Kansas city .... we are talking 3,4 ... 5 million dollars in profit bonus.

So as Carl rides off into the sunset, back to california, he's gonna leave with a wallet stuff to the brim with KC money. He'll probably also leave the team in the same condition that he found it back in 1989.

Peterson is a first rate jackass ... always has been, always will be.

i'm talking 1 specific bonus directly tied to the profit level of the chiefs. i'd heard that he got 2 million because the team cleared 20 million in profit last time. I figure they will double that in each of the next 2 years.

i'm sure you're correct that Peterson gets contract bonuses for other things.
