SWG is crap. Nothing to do (when I played) except sit around and craft shit.

I played Ultima Online for a few years. I was hooked, to the point where I made it an obsession to wake up at 5:00 AM to get a fruit basket (a rare item). I got bored with it eventually thank goodness, but now I doubt i'll ever play another MMORPG that has a maintenance fee.

Ya know, i've actually gotten hooked on Diablo 2. Its still fun to me, and its free online play.

I started playing a little bit before they seperated it in to Trammel and Felucca. Fel was then empty, as all the pussies went to Trammel to hide from PK's. It got quite boring after you couldn't "grief" anymore.

i played diablo II for a couple of years and loved the online play. it's not a true RPG ... more an action adventure//RPG

but it was still great

Hell yes. I'd PK noobs for no reason whatsoever. It was fun. When they seperated the realms though, the people who didn't like getting PK'd moved to the "safe" realm. My buddies and I had to get a bit more creative after that. We made a guild, and lured people in to it by promising great times, great loot, and great monster hunting. Once they were in the guild, you could attack them freely. Hehe.

Yeah, "Pulling a Leroy" has become a cliche.

Is it a rpg? If so I am going to quit reading. I never played RPG's, and made fun of all of you dorks that waste your life contstantly playing them.

Then one day somebody on here creates a post about High Descent. 3 months later I am spending at least 2 hours a day trying to get all of my attacks in, and my wife and friends are laughing at me for being a RPG dork.

Man, I just picked up WoW. Haven't played an MMORPG for since EC about a year ago, and the Kaerdoth free UO shards back in the 90s.

For all those that love WoW, what the hell is wrong with the group system?!?! There is almost nobody looking to group at lower levels. I've gotten to the point where I need to group for my available quests (priest 9) and the only people out there are reeruned as hell and pull 10 frickin mobs every frickin time.

Gotta say, pretty disappointed at this point. So far, it seems like an easier version of EC, with stupid people and little group interaction.
