Dak rejected $30 million/yr offer

This guy is pressing for $40 million a year. I hope Jerry is stupid enough to give it to him

Are the Cowboys the most dysfunctional team in the NFL and they just don't realize it?
  • Multiple guys suspended every year for banned substances
  • Multiple guys suspended every year for legal issues
  • Unhappy guys who sit out and whine
  • A lot of playoff failure for the last 20 years
  • Can't get their shit together!

This team looks like a high priced shit show in the most expensive stadium.

People compare him to Alex Smith but I think at best he is Alex, but at his worst much, much worse. He is somewhere between the 18-24th best QB in the league but more towards the 24th than 18th. and at best worth 8-12 million a year just because he can start in the league. 30 million is so far beyond my comprehension for that piece of trash. Just crazy.

18-24 is really pushing it, have you seen some of the starting QB's?

Pure numbers don't tell the story with QBs. The eyes tell everything and they tell any rational fan that he's not a brilliant QB. Hes a decent starter. Nothing more.

Those numbers kind of point out how everyone likes Wentz that in reality he isn't any better and he's injury prone.

Wentz has a way higher ceiling than Dak. 33 TD’s/7 INT’s 2 years ago in 13 games.

Wentz pretty much matched Dak’s career high in only 11 games last year throwing 21 TD’s.

Yes health is a factor, but there is no way anyone can say that Dak is as good of a QB as Wentz.

Wentz is gonna prove that again this year. I bet he has 35+ TD’s this season.

I wouldn't take that bet, dude can't stay healthy.

Wentz has never played in a playoff game.

I don't think I'm pushing it, based on having to watch the freaking cowgirls so often of prime time and watching him play, that team wins because of their Oline and running game, NOT their QB.

If the cowgirls had our RB's they would be 6-10/7-9 at best. Just the eye test says he is 18-24.

And comparing with Wentz is meh, I don't think he is nearly as good as other think. He had a good season his first season when many compared to Mahomes but his stats ( especially TD's) paled in comparison. Wentz is a 10-12 QB, good but not great by any means.

I don’t follow the Cowboys or much care about their players and what they’re paid but if this was a first offer why wouldn’t Dak’s side ask for more?

Also, I seem to remember that Dak sucks without Elliott so not sure who’s more important?

Yea, i saw this last night on NFL network. What the hell makes him even remotely think he deserves to be the highest paid QB in the NFL? What has he done? He is not a great QB by any means and is a fool for thinking he is.
