Great weekend 37 Forever events

The weekend was great. Except for the sorry ass game, of course. I finally got to meet a lot of Planeteers that I have talked to on this bb for a long time as well as some of our newer members.

Phobia - Great to finally meet you. I would've brought my axe but nobody said anything. Then again, I'm not much of a singer so you guys probably would've gotten tired of that. [shrug] BTW, I think you broke my finger with that football. It was so swollen I couldn't take off my ring. Now I won't be able to play my guitar, you bastard.

Bob Dole - It was cool to meet you, too. I felt like I already knew you since we've talked a lot about bands and stuff.

First Down Elvis - Great talking to a fellow artist, albeit different type of artist. Nice to see a guy so passionate about following his dream. BTW, the people running the jumbotron really like you. They must've shown your mug about 4-5 times. Your wife was really nice, too. I'll be looking forward to seeing that pic of us (that didn't sound right).

raiderhader - Jamie, I enjoyed hanging with you and bullshittin'. You a pretty cool cat, for a K State fan. And we both share a common enemy, Dense.

Nzoner - What can I say? You have an awesome pad and you really know how to throw a party. Thanks for letting us hang out.

go bo - It was great finally seeing the man behind the legend. (No guys, he doesn't really talk like that in person).

SDChiefsfan - Anton was a real nice guy. Nice to finally meet you, too (I'm sensing a recurring theme here). Too bad you couldn't hold your liquor. j/k Glad you were having a good time, though.

Bowser - Dude, sry about getting you mixed up with Booser. Your names are too similar. I got back on the bb today and was like 'oh, that guy. Now I know'.

Bearcat - Man, those Jayhawks should've put that game away. Well, at least we KU fans have a team to cheer about these days.

redhead - Cool cat, I enjoyed hangin' with ya. For some reason, it seems like we've met before. ---insert Twilight Zone music--- Saw ya over there in 304.You're not too far from our section. Can't wait to see the pics you took. Was your section really hot, too? I can't tell if it was just real hot or the wall behind us blocked the breeze. I was sweating by the 3rd and 4th quarter.

Ali Chiefs - Enjoyed talking to ya on Saturday. You remind me a lot of my fellow guitar player in my former band. We guitarists always have stuff to share. Maybe we can jam next time. BTW, is that your little guy in your sig?

Morphius - Good to meet you.

Zach - Very nice guy. So, you're the dude with the alt website. I didn't realize you were such a young pup.

Jazzlover - Tammy, everyone is right. You are really quiet. That's ok, though. I suppose that's better than being obnoxious.

Which brings me to Endelt - Just kidding, bro. I didn't get to talk to you much but, you were everything in person that I had imagined. Pretty much a nut.

pink - Phobia is a lucky guy.

frazod - I've never seen anyone get so much joy in seeing KU lose. I guess that must be some kind of requirement to being a MU fan. I guess that should be compliment to KU when people are rooting against their football team. But I won't hold that against you. I will be thinking of you when KU wins in Columbia this year.

Saulbadguy - Even thought we've met before, I enjoyed chatting with ya again. You are a pretty nice guy, you know, for a liberal and all.

KCWolfman - Russ, really glad I got to meet you. Everyone said you had been there on Saturday. I was like man, I missed him. I saw someone with Russ on their nametag but I thought it said Nzoner's guest. Don't remember if that was you. But I'm glad you showed up at B5 Sunday.

beer me and POPystar - Funny thing, I didn't realize you were beer me. I guess it didn't register in my brain who you were. I remembered POPystar but not you. I'll bet that makes you feel great. But I enjoyed meeting you guys, too.

Extremechief, Vlad, Grandlama, KC Dan - Didn't really talk much but I enjoyed meeting you all.

I hope I'm not leaving someone out but I probably am. Sry if I forgot you. That was a lot of people to remember.

It was kinda funny cause my wife kept saying who was that. Yeah, like she ever posts here. But she does look over my shoulder all the time while I'm reading the Planet. She had a good time and I'm glad she got to see that you all aren't just a bunch of internet freaks. Well, at least not all of you. BTW, Mrs Lzen and I celebrated 12 years of marriage on Sunday. It was a great day despite the Chiefs loss.

Oh, and my friend Daniel said he had a good time, too. For those that didn't know, he lurks here quite often. He has posted very little. His handle is twrerctr.

It was good to meet you too, Lzen! And don't worry about the title thing -- Bowser, Boozer, Hey Dick, A-hole --- I generally answer to them all! I probablly owe Boozer some sort of royalties thing for the near infringement on his name!

I look forward to seeing you at the next party/event. And don't be shy next time - bring the guitar!

I can't believe all the guys that "upgraded" past their own position in the wife department. GoBo's wife is very attractive as well as Nzoner's, Llama's, and the other guys who I have mentioned before.

See...that's why I stay inconspicuous......

I can tell you without hesitation that I married beyond my station in life. Lucky for me my daughter has inherited my wife's good looks, and has an older brother, who at 12 y/o, is already 5'9" and weighs 170. Built in bodyguard.

I don't know why but I wish he would have just said something awful about one member in between all of those good comments about folks that were there. Like...

Awesomeness? If something is full of beauty, we call it beautyFUL. If something is full of wonder, we call it wonderFUL. Therefore, if you are full of awe, you should be awFUL.

As far as me being blind, you should be glad I didn't see you or I would have kicked your ass.
