Can we Romper the Pats "fans" please?

I've been here 17+ years, I get the lax attitude when it comes to trolls and visiting fans...

But for the love of GOD.

This is the first AFCCG in forever, and the first ever at home. Can we have some goddamn peace and quiet around here?

Shouldn't be that much to ask to be able to scroll through a weather thread, get tailgate or ticket updates, or make dinner/travel plans without being buried in NE assholes.

Thanks in advance.

OTW15

PS: You're the best mod team.

PPS: If the mods are unwilling to do this, you assholes arguing with them are getting ****ing negged to high hell - and I've never negged anyone in 17 years.

Have a great day!

I'm a (relatively) old Pats fan. My first game was in 1982 and when I was in college the Pats were a combined 16-48. I know what suckage is. :-) . These past 18 years have been nothing short of a blessing.

Obviously I'm new here and as I said in my first post, I'm not here to start trouble, troll or trash talk. Just looking to get educated and if y'all have questions for me on the NEP, feel free to ask. I'm really looking forward to this game!
That's definitely fair. I got NO issues with you at all. I've been here for 18 years (I was actually member #1 because I was boardless at the time, having been banned 3 times and the Kansas Star Board for protesting mod abuse ) and this place has always been pretty open.

The problem is that creates a cornucopia of BBQ recipes, tips on harvesting wild bees, fecal matter, semen, and news from Florida that has to be waded through to get to the football. When you add in hundreds of posts from opposing fans compensating for the micropenis by vomiting "we're #1" all over the board, it just becomes a chore.

Broke his wrist and had surgery. Obviously, he isn't going to get 4 INTs in the game or anything. He did miss a tackle on Saturday that I felt might have been complicated by the cast. It's definitely big and bulky.

It isn't MY preference. It's the preference of a great many people here, including the mods. You're actually in the minority.

So by allowing it, they'd actually be catering to YOUR preferences. Get off your high horse.

That doesn't seem right to me, unless his username was something troll-like. Anyway I will make things less cluttered for you guys and not post here anymore for the foreseeable future, good luck on Sunday and anyone attending the game make sure to not take the weather lightly, it will be dangerously cold.

FWIW, I personally don't care if you post here.

If hes having a problem tackling or re- routing a receiver then he should NOT be matched up on Edelman.

That all depends on alignments.

The Chiefs play a lot of man but they don't play matchups, if that makes sense.

The have right, left, and slot CBs. Fuller is generally in the slot and will matchup with the slot receiver. So he may be on Edelman but he won't be on Edelman if he's lined up outside, for example.

Stick around. Talk ball.

Amnorix has been here for over a decade. He catches some hell, but if you're a decent human with some thick skin, life isn't bad here.

When you gave the pats fan your 18 year bio, #1, you forgot to mention all the times you left the board for months at a time. I’m not saying you were hiding out because you’re soft or that you needed refuge from the challenges of a minimally moderated message board, but you’re not exactly the guy I’d say is best situated to have his finger on the pulse of the community.

But none of that matters. We don’t need to ban trash talking foreign fans. There are plenty of other places you can get a safe experience like that.

Yes it does. Thanks. Jules lines up all over. Wide, Slot, RB, tight. It'll be interesting to see what y'all do.

Ward is a bigger CB so I'm guessing he'll be on Hogan.

With all that said, as long as we don't get too far behind we are going to run the ball. Thats the personality of this offense now.

I left the board because I lost interest, in both the Chiefs and the garbage this place tends to accumulate. As for you lecturing ME about stuff like this, all I can do is laugh. There isn't a time in the entire time you've been here you've spoken for the "community".

And for the record, they're not banned. They're filling up the Romper Room with their garbage. They are over there not because of how I "feel", they're over there because the "pulse of the community" wants them there.

Feel free to take your bleeding heart over there and take it way too seriously, like you do DC.

You're assuming there was any emotion at all in that post. Trust me, there wasn't.

If anything, I'm laughing at the irony of a "so-called" conservative choosing to forego the whole purpose of the existence of this message board to defend the "rights" of unwanted and unwelcome guests who are doing nothing but using server resources and nothing more.

Most of us are decedents of the old KC Star chat section which was the wild wild west. Back then there were people who loved Scott Pioli and defended him no matter the topic.

I think this is the origin of Patriots hate, to be honest.

I didn't post here for years but I see some of the same people from back then. Those talkback sections had some legendary moments. Nobody blamed the Star for stopping the madness.
