Ok...Here are my thoughts on the week:

1. They definitely wanted to drill into our heads right from the get-go that Sayid is/was a killer. Otherwise, there was no need for the chicken scene.

2. Gotta give the casting department some sort of award for the casting of young Ben. That kid is creepy as hell, and it's not that he's trying to be creepy. It's the close up camera angles and hoody that do it for me.

3. They didn't show us that book for nothing. What I get from it is Faraday says you can't change the past. So if Sayid shot Ben, it shouldn't effect grown up Ben because he's in "A Separate Reality" in future times.

4. As for the love "square" that is Jack/Kate/Juliet/Sawyer, I actually kinda felt bad for Juliet. She appears to have found happiness and you can tell she doesn't want to lose it.

5. I'd love to see the smoke monster ravage Radzinsky in a wide open stretch of land. That guy is a certifiable douche bag.

6. Not important, but didn't it appear that Sawyer tazed Sayid in the balls?

7. Oldham's a strage cat. At least he used humane ways of getting answers....compared to Sayid.

8. I find it funny that Sayid told Horace and crew exactly what they wanted to know, but they blew it off.....acid "is a hellofva drug."

9. That was very ballsy of the writers/producers having a character shoot a child in cold blood during primetime TV. What was PC even 10 years ago, is not the same now. Anywho, it was the payoff for the chicken scene being included. Sayid is a stone cold killer and he did what he had to do with both Ben and the chicken.

10. Last but not least. Radzinsky.....did I metion he is a d-bag?....threatened to call Ann Arbor if the rest of the group didn't agree with him. Ann Arbor is home to the DeGroots, the two University of Michigan students who created the Dharma Initiative. One has to wonder if we'll see them in the flesh sometime or another.

I think it's more likely that Ben will recover from his wound and the shooting will somehow make him more Ben-like, therefore blowing everyone's mind with how shitty it is that Sayid caused him to be a creepy freak.

Except the doc on the island couldn't even deliver a baby. Of course, it will probably be Jack that saves his life.

I suspect Richard Alpert is going to find him and "mold" young Ben.

My names Oldham, this is my DHARMA brother Darrell, and my other DHARMA brother Darrell.

Pretty lame episode. You know young Ben isn't going to die. Kudos to Sayid for trying. Next weeks episode looks pretty lame - just a setup for the finale down the road.

And you know that Dharma is going to find out about Sawyer and everybody, i bet Hurley gives them all away some how or another. Or they are going to realize that they need to get out of the Dharma before things go sour.

I am interested on how this season is going to end...and what the cliff hanger will be for the next and final season.

And, perhaps more importantly, in the 1970s.

Lol...on another board that I frequent, somebody already thought of that. The taser was invented in 1976 and it's 77 on the island.

I don't have much to comment on about this episode.

Good Episode, but I don't really have any questions about it after watching it.

Radzinsky was in there with Kelvin Inman before Desmond took over.

Yes, he painted the ceiling with a shotgun.

I don't have a whole lot this week. It was pretty much all story this week. Very little LOST hidden agenda type stuff.

1. So they further reiterated that you can't change the past by showing that Ben couldn't die. This should also mean that other things like "the purge" have to happen regardless of what they do to try and stop it.

2. Looks like there is a power struggle in the Others camp. Sounds like Charles and Ellie (Widmore) are trying to run things much to Alpert's chagrin. I think it's pretty obvious that Ben is going to help Alpert get them booted off the island.

3. I really thought when Juliet cornered Jack in the shower she was gonna whore out and ravage him. She looked smokin hot in that scene. Oh and Kate was bonerrific in the supermarket scene.

4. Jack didn't even realize it, but by not fixing Ben, he allowed him to become the grown up Ben. Buuuuuuut.....It didn't really matter. Because as in #1 above, things happen regardless of what is done to stop it, so he would have become the Others leader some other way.

5. Lastly, at the very end of the episode, I think it was pretty clear that Ben was manifesting "new" memories while lying on the cot. Then he opens his eyes and WHOA! total mind blow! I really hope that was Locke in some sort of Christian Shepherd-like form.

6. Oh yeah, isn't Roger gonna be kinda pissed that Sawyer and Kate just gave his kid away? I mean, I would

all very good points arrowheadnation...

Kate was looking damn fine in the grocery store... I would soo love to hump her and Sun in a wild island threeway. In 1977 or 2009, wherever.

#4... yeah by NOT fixing Ben, he inadvertently put that other path in front him. Very Bizarre.

I think that Kate and Roger were gonna hump...

Where the hell is Daniel Faraday?

I think you are correct. In a video shown to fans at Comic-Con in '08, Pierre Chang (the guy from all the DHARMA videos) was sending a message to "30 years in the future". He stated he knew Bush was President, the internet was the primary medium for exchanging ideas, and that the members of the DHARMA Project were going to "die in a purge we are powerless to prevent".

The Pierre Chang stuff starts about 55 seconds into the video:
