2014 World Cup field is set.
Attention will now turn to the draw for the tournament, which is to be conducted on Dec. 6 in Brazil. The 32 teams will be divided into four pots of eight teams each for the draw, with hosts Brazil and the next seven highest-ranked sides in the October 2013 FIFA World Rankings being given the top seeds in Pot 1 and the rest being divided up by geographical criteria to be determined.

I think Uruguay will be very tough. I'm rooting for Belgium along with two from the CAF or AFC.

Man, the field in this edition is brutal. 2002 and 2010 were relatively weak World Cups. Our chances of making it to the knockout round can't be very high. If we draw a group with France + Italy/Portugal/Netherlands, our chances to advance will plummet.

A European team has never won a WC in South America. Right now my money would be on Brazil or Argentina.
