If the officials are to stubborn to reverse anything then I'm not sure what the answer is, officiating in general has ruined the game.

I’m so ****ing tired of seeing this many goddamn penalties. Tom Brady was right to shut the game off a few weeks ago when he started seeing non-stop penalties. That’s what’s killing the flow.

I was in favor of reviews when they first brought it back. However, it's gotten to a point where it has absolved referees from responsibility. Rather than hold officials accountable, they just add more rules and review procedures.
Get rid of it and start firing/fining officials for doing a sh*tty job. It might take a little time but it'll work out in the end.

Yesterday that ref crew wanted to make sure you knew they were a part of the game.

They should 1000000% end PI challenges.
I wanted review back in the day, but the officials **** it up so much I hate it now. |

I would be fine with reviews only in the last 2 min of the game and on scoring plays.
If you want to bring back full reviews for the playoffs, that would make sense. As someone else pointed out, the more pressing problem is the amount of penalties we're seeing. It's out of control. For one thing, if you want to get rid of punt and kick returns, then change the rules, but don't try to eliminate them by calling a hold or block in the back on every damn return. Also, if you're going to call PI and/or holding on every other play, then at least change them to 5 yard penalties. |

I've been against reviews for years. I mainly hate how reviews have changed our way of watching the games. Every time there's a big play, you have to kind of hold on back on celebrating until we've seen all of the angles to make sure that there isn't anything they can call it back for.
Not to mention that half of the reason that the rules have gotten to be so damn complicated is that we're judging outcomes in slow mo, which refs on the field literally can't do. Yes, calls would be less accurate without reviews, but I'm a strong believer that the game would be more fun without. |

One of my biggest pet peeves with penalties is the "automatic" first down rule on defensive holding and pass interference. I hate hate hate it. Make it a spot foul. If it results in a first down, so be it. But to negate a 3rd and 20 stop because a guy committed a ticky tack 5 yard defensive holding penalty is dumb.

That game yesterday was a slow paced, ****ing disgrace of a messy ref flag fest.

I say get rid of it along with rules that take pages to adequately explain. If you have to go frame by frame to determine if a fumble happened or a catch was made, you are destroying the game. Once we reach The Jetsons, where football is played by robots, perhaps we can have the game refereed by computers.
Why does it seem that every year, we Chiefs fans are complaining about calls in the game? I mean, Mahomes is popular so shouldn't the Chiefs be getting the calls, too? Blame the referees, the NFL, Brady, Belichick or whomever you want. I say the real problem is that the Chiefs have been relatively successful, have drafted and traded rather poorly and the results are pretty clear. Teams rise and fall, the Chiefs have rarely been so bad that they draft highly year after year. The Chiefs have drafted first once in their existence. They are a product of their success or mediocrity. |

An option for keeping it but tweeking some of the less satisfying parts like PI reviews would have been nice.
