Against the Rice Owls..... That team produced a 7th round pick in 2011 and 2012. 88th ranked defense that gave up 35 ppg.

He has averaged 1.12 TDs a game in the NFL...so around 8 points. Good thing donks have a bad-ass running game...

15 of 25 for 271 yards, 1 TD and 0 INTs... 60% completion - 10.8 YPA

22 of 35 for 284 yards, 0 TD and 1 INT... 62.9% completion - 8.1 YPA

The first guy lost his first career start @ KC, the second guy won his first career start @ Denver. They'll both play eacher this year in those respective cities.

So apparently the guy Horseface just payed $17 million STILL throws 1 TD a game....six years/41 games later.

Keenum had games of 167, 140, 188, 139, and 189 yards last season. So 1/3 of his starts resulted in less than 200 yards passing...the 3 lowest were outside/on the road. He reached 300 only twice...

2016 Semian played in 13 1/2 games...he threw for less than 200 3 times...and reached 300 3 times.

Keenum -3500 /22 td /7 int (15 games)
Semian - 3400 /18 td/10 int (13 1/2 games) as a 1st time starter...that's 3778/20/11 over 15 games

Should have just kept Semian and drafted Rosen...

Stats are pretty fun. One of my favorite current ones is.... regardless of qb, regardless of coach, KC is 5-0 vs Dungver the last 5. While very impressive, it can’t compete with the ineptitude of VaJona’s worst in the division coaching. I’m sure things will turn around rapidly....

It's a pretty safe bet that Keesum wont be lighting up the scoreboard...his (best year) stat line is consistent with quality backup level. Passer rating doesn't mean much when you throw for 139/140/169 yards.

You have to have a top 5 running game + top 5 defense/turnovers + great coaching/coordinators to win...Denver has none of those.
