If I'm not mistaken, Mr. Easy 6, during an interview at Gruden's QB Camp "Special" last year, Fav-a-rah said he didn't know what a Cover 2 was until his second year. I believe I recall him telling Gruden that, "I heard them saying that over and over, but I didn't know what they were talking about." (paraphrasing, of course).

He actually seemed proud of it. "Ah flung the ball 'n ah didn't even know whut a zone defense were!"

I believe you're right, I was literally going to post that Gruden camp as evidence of his early lack of football acumen... spent a few minutes trying to find that exact spot in the episode and gave up on it

But still man, they do look very similar in the things they do... much more so than Rodgers, IMHO

Maybe it's me, Mr. Easy 6. Probably is, actually.

I cannot stand Fav-a-rah. I can't stand to hear him talk. I can't stand to see his stupid face. Yes, he can fling a football, but I also think he may have the IQ of a tomato ... or a yellow squash, perhaps ... some sort of basic, generic, garden produce ...

Anyhow, maybe I just cringe at the thought of our QB being mentioned in the same sentence with that near-mongoloid dumbass. That's probably it.

I'm looking for disparities ... not equivalences. A number of NFL QBs have had "big arms". I suppose I'm hoping that Mahomes will demonstrate the physical talents commonly associated with "big arm" guys but with the aptitude of a Smith. You know, the perfect QB.

I see Fav-a-rah as a lumberjack. Mahomes I see as sort of a cross between a shortstop and a neurosurgeon.

I know he’s got a LONG ways to go but I, along with a few others, have always said that his playing style most resembles Rodgers. Never meant that he’d necessarily be that good, just that he reminded me of A-Rod...

I stand by that. And even some of the talking heads are starting to run with it. I’ve saw a lot of stuff this week about throws where these pundits say, ‘only Rodgers or Mahomes could have pulled that off’..’ or that Mahomes reminded them of him as well.

Yep, I see way more Rodgers in Pat's game than I do Favre. And it's interesting to note that Rodgers is Pat's favorite QB to study (along with Brady of course). In the end though, I just want Pat to be himself and why not aim to be even BETTER than Rodgers and actually win more than one SB? That's what he should be aiming for, never limit yourself kid.

Guys, we're going to be OK on Defense. NFL.com states in the injury report that JAMES Berry is Doubtful. Eric Berry is not even on the list.

The combo of Rodgers and Favre is John Elway

The Chiefs pulled their new red Ferrari out of the garage and only used first gear to race up the California highways as the Chargers acted as a mild speed bump. This week the next 3 gears ( Hunt, Watkins and Kelce) will be used a lot more.

Annoying Steelers fans will walk out with their terrible towels, wondering how they lost this game when they controlled the clock and Ben threw for 3 Touchdowns. The Refs will also do their best to protect the Rapist.

Answer is: Mahomes will also throw for 3 TD's plus lead another TD Run for Hunt and 2 ButtKicker Field goals. Special teams will also be a factor in Punt returns by Reek.

Chiefs have not won there since 1984- before Mahomes was born- we have been waiting for him to break another curse. He will deliver and his legend will grow.

Chiefs 34 Steelers 27

The score will look closer than what this game will be as the Steelers do what the Chargers did and pad their stats in the 4th quarter when the outcome has essentially been decided. Steelers will put up 10 points in the last 12 minutes as Sutton tries not to completely cave as he rushes 3 again while milking the clock.

"HOW ABOUT THOSE CHIEFS!!!"
Pretty much nailed it except I underestimated the score.

Two weeks in a row now- I posted the highlights before the game was played.

How did the rest of you do?

I don't recall the score I may or may not have predicted, Mr. Halfcan, but I did say that Mahomes was a "cross between a shortstop and a neurosurgeon".

In retrospect, it seems clear that the Muse was tickling my testicles on that particular day.

PS: I never had a single smidgeon of doubt that we would win. Before the game, during the game, and especially after the game.

I think this week- more will be predicting a win-lol 56 posters predicted a loss with 22 voting the Steelers were going to blow us out.

BTW- how great is it that even though I predicted 3 Mahomes TD's- I was wrong by half-lol 6 Freaking TD's!!! Wow!! I hope Mahomes blows away my expectations every week!

This! Even when the refs ****ed us on the fumble TD- that would have blown the game open and the Cheating Steelers crawled back into the game- I told my son- we get the ball second half- Mahomes will throw another one. And he did- 3 more TD's!! The kid is amazing!

I expect him to blow expectations, Mr. Halfcan. I expect to expect that, too.

He has his head on right, man. During the hallway interview, Mitch asked him how he was going to celebrate his birthday and he said he was going to study 49rs tape.

If Mahomes stays grounded, listens closely to the Quarterback Whisperer, and takes care of his body, he's going to get better and better with age.

Patrick "Fine Wine" Mahomes.
