Been saying for a while this has been a Murphys law season. Off the field shit, off the field distraction, locker room problems, etc.... Then there's the fumbles and all the doink INTs that often magically bounce right into the Ds lap. Seem to recall the Chiefs turning point in the super bowl season. They were looking like shit and then the Denver game... While it sucked for mahomes to get hurt, this was the point where the offense and defense finally clicked at the same time.
Kind of feel like the worms turning, doesn't it? We're starting to get some breaks and some positive news. The D is slowly shaping up, locker room issues were forced to be addressed. Now we get a huge break with back to back to back teams facing huge adversity. The giants with injuries, the packers with covid and the raiders with ruggs/gruden (I don't think this will be an easy one for the team to overcome). Buckle up. We could be in for some bounces to finally go our way |

5 AFC West games still remaining and the current division leader has lost their HC and home run threat WR in a span of a few weeks.
Winning the AFC West still in play. |

9 games left. Looking at it from a block of 3 perspective, if we can go 2-1 over the next 3, I think then we can start to look optimistically at the rest of the schedule. Anything less than that would mean either losing two home games (including one to Jordan Love) or losing a home game and a game to the leftovers of the Fade, or, God forbid....losing all 3 (highly doubtful).
Get through this major gauntlet of the schedule at 6-5, and then we have some serious juice. |

I don’t want to jinx anything, but today at the first practice on a short week, off a MNF game and it’s Week 9 the Chiefs only had ONE player not practice due to injury (Remmers) and only one other player who was even a limited practice participant (Chris Jones).
The Chiefs have their collective health. |

Please, please just beat the Packers (current state) and the Cowboys - the rest can take care of itself. A great time to get Ingram and discover D. Gore's potential. I actually am getting FAITH again in OUR beloved CHIEFS!
Ride or die I guess!

I would guess this is the 1st time Chiefs had stretch of 6 games with 5 of them at Arrowhead.

We need to steal the Packers game.
Win that, beat LV twice, Denver twice, and the Charger once....that gets us to 10-4...Pitt is beatable as well which gets us to 11. That leaves the Bengals and Cowboys....those two could be toss ups...depending on which Bengals team shows up. So yeah, I think things are looking up...assuming they take care of business against the Pack and get the ball rolling.

There's optimism because the teams around The top of the conference and division are faking apart right now. No one other than the Bills has really taken advantage of the Chiefs having all these issues. They could regret letting us hang around...

If this team pulls it's head out of it's ass it will go back to the Superbowl.
Period. We will just have to see if it happens. |

Bengals and Cowboys are gonna put up career day numbers vs this defense I'm afraid...
