Butker has to play next week
Dude will have had 5 weeks for swelling to go down. We just can’t trot out these off the street kickers anymore, especially for a game that’s this important.

Butker even came back that same game and was kicking with that injury. And we can always have Justin Reid kick the kickoffs out of the end zone so Butker won’t even need to jog during the game.

It’s time. Need him back badly

Yup, I don’t think the hold influenced him missing the FG. He technically missed 2/3. I don’t have a ton of confidence in Wright but I’m not rushing butker back until we’re totally confident he’s ready. Wright is adequate enough to work around. And even when he comes back I’d still use Reid on kickoffs for a short while.

I don't know. I guess it depends on how you define "bail out".

To me, it implies a deliberate action to produce a result that otherwise wouldn't have happened. A "bail out" is the same as "fixing". In other words, a bad or incorrect call to give him another chance, which isn't what happened.

Depends on the severity of the injury, just like a hammy. I haven't ready anywhere what grade tear/strain it is so there's really no expected timetable out there.
