Geno, in your scenario, is obviiously the icing on the cake. Nabbing him buffers all other questionable moves.
If Albert is asking for too much money, or has health issues we don't know about, or if they simply don't like him as a player, moving him for two #2s while still getting Geno would be appealing.

That's the threshold for me to flip the "defer to authority" switch and become a true fan.

Replacing Albert with one of the #2s, getting another high pick AND Geno wouldn't be so bad to me.

If we draft Geno I doubt we trade Albert. It would not be the most intelligent thing to go with a rookie QB and a 2cd tier or worse rookie at LT.

This is a deep OT class. Good tackles get picked in the 2nd all the time.

Geno starting or not.....With the moves the FO have made to date they are in a win now type of mode. Replacing a top 5-10 veteran LT in the NFL with a second rounder is not something a team would do if they are trying to win now.

might as well put Alex Smith on IR right now. There is no 2nd round LT that can start this year

Can I change my vote from two weeks ago? This isn't looking as promising any longer.

Along with the interest not being there for the pick nor is it there for any players.

Outside of this place, nobody wants Geno, hence by the moves being made this past week. But nobody here can take a F****** hint.

Actually Armstead can play both and Reid views LT and RT as the same.
