Rinoa just didn't do much, she was the bubbly damsel in distress in FF8. Tifa was a badass. I loved FF10, but if you gave me the choice between Yuna, Lulu, Rikku or Tifa, it's Tifa.

I loved FF7 but I'm not interested at all if I have to buy 2 or 3 games in order to complete the original one time.

Yeah $60 a pop wouldn't be good. I'm hoping at most it's 2 "episodes" and reduced cost?

Think of it as being similar to FFX and FFX-2 where they're both really standalone games that exist in the same universe rather than a set of games that all need to be played in sequence. It'll all just come down to whether they're good or not. If they are, it'll be worth it. If not, people won't play the sequels after the first one. |

Final Fantasy VII - Remake
Didn't see a topic for this gem coming out in March 2020. I preferred FFVI, but still have a soft spot for the seventh Final Fantasy installment. One part I don't like about the remake is its coming out in "chapters". The first chapter will only cover the story up until the party leaves Midgar for the first time. Oh well, but it's looking like it's well worth your money and the wait-time. |

I'll be getting this. The graphics turned me off to even try the original. But the characters are really good.

I think I'll wait for the PS4 remastered version of Chocobo racing.

Bah, from the look of it they're going to be using that new battle system FF games started using.
Hate it. Prefer the old JRPG style. They can remake the story, but it will be a different GAME. |
