I thought they said on the broadcast that Mason had the flu. That would explain his subpar game. Hopefully, it was just a 24 hour bug and he's back to normal tonight.

They did mention he had suffered from "Flu like symptoms earlier in the week".

Gurley mentioned the same on 810 this morning.

Since we won anyway, I was thrilled to see him taken from the game after only 26 or so minutes. I'm sure his illness had something to do with all the fouls, too - couldn't stay in front of his man.

In the last 11 years, since Self cleared out Roy's players and started his own in 2006, our KenPom defense has averaged a 6.9 avg national ranking. Including being 1 in 2007 and 2008, 2 in 2006, and 3 in 2012 and 2016.


Right now we are 41.
