Who thinks the Chiefs will win their first five games?

There are some Chiefs fans that believe based on our draft that the team will win the first 5 games.

Anyone else think so?

Okay, can I have my vote changed to 4-1? I somehow skimmed over the @NE part. 4-1 seems optimistically doable.

If I'm being optimistic I say we only get our asses handed to us in three games.

NE beats us by at least 3 TD's and I'd be amazed if we amass 10 points, amazed.

Oakland and ATL should be fairly even matched games, it could go either way really, but I'm hoping we'll have some sort of balls in our home opener and pull out of a bore-fest with a 10-7 win or something like that. Same thing with ATL.

I think the Donkeys will probably beat us by 10 points at least and Carolina should probably do just about the same as the Donkeys.

It really depends, if our D-Line comes out strong or our O-Line, we could be looking at 3-2; but more than likely we'd have to have both meshing, and I don't think that's even remotely possible within the first 5 games.

I said 0-5, because I like it when I'm pleasantly surprised.

And if they Chiefs do lose their first five, then I'll be right.

I can't lose!

Hell, I feel I am stretching it saying 2-3. More like 1.5-3.5

I still say we top last season in epic low and finish 3-13 after a 2-3 start.

i can easily see us starting off 3-2...ok we will lose to NE, but after that our schedule is very easy. i think we win 3 in a row after NE, then lose to Carolina

I don't think there's much chance they'll win at NE. The other four are winnable, but I just have a feeling they won't get it done. Carolina is tough to figure - they can be world-beaters or very average.

2-3 is what I predicted.

Ditto.

I expect the Pats game to be fun. I think we'll play over our heads (like at Indi last year) and make the game much closer than it should be. 7-10 pt loss.

We'll be talented but inconsistent.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

2-3, no way against NE in the opener. We should beat OAK and ATL easily, but they will make it close. We should be able to beat DEN and CAR, but we won't, so why bother getting your hopes up.
