Life I lost my mom today - Page 5

I haven't posted much in a while, but I always considered this place a great spot to vent, get things off my chest that I couldn't take to social media.

The day I never wanted to come came today for me. My Mom passed away this morning after a few month struggle with various ailments.

She was far too young, 60, for this, but if you're the praying/good thoughts, I'd appreciate some for my mom.

It was sudden and I expected her to pull through. We are all pretty crushed - my kids, who were the lights of her life, especially.

God Bless you and your whole family. This hits me hard because if I put myself in your shoes I know it would turn my life upside down. My mom is just a couple years older and while it’s nothing terminal she’s had several health issues for years. So I can relate in that way. No kids for me but I think they are going to help you just as you help them as you guys go through this. You’re a good dude and I’m sure that’s how she taught you. When tragedy hits you have to stay strong for the close ones that haven’t yet been through something like this. You are their strength. But you also need to grieve and not just hold it in. Everything is going to be alright man. Praying for you all as you go through this and I also have to tell you that I don’t know if I was in your shoes right now if I would have the strength to come here and post this. I find that very honorable and admirable. Never know who is reading and will draw strength from that

Condolences to you and your family. I lost my Mom at the same age to cancer and my Dad passed at 57 from cancer.

Life is a very short journey, sometimes much shorter than we expect........
