The "rawness" is a misnomer. He isn't raw. He's polished in his technique, which is insane. What some call "raw" I call uncoached. He already CAN do everything. He just doesn't know WHAT to do. That's coaching and reps. It's not like he has to develop his skills, just learn where and when to use them.

They want playing time. I don't think Embiid will jump to the NBA after this season unless he has a monster year. This team is also loaded at guard.

This. Selden stepped up and looked like a leader last night. It's possible Wayne prevented Wiggins from earning a technical after Andrew's fourth foul. Selden was all over the court in ways that transcended the actual game. It would be amazing if this trend continued, as I do not even remember the last time we had a leader that filled a role like that on the court.
