Has anyone here ever served a jail/prison sentence?

Marriage is not a jail/prison sentence btw.



Since reading the posts on the killing thread....I've wondered how many people here have actually done time for a crime they committed.

I've never served time but I've stayed overnight twice. Once for public intox when I was 18 and once when my ex-wife told a cop I shoved her, which was a lie.

Yep, me too, but for a DUI

Overnight reservation in the County Jail. I was so fuggin hungry the next day, I actually ate their powdered eggs and drank their sour milk.

Not a pleasant experience.

BTW, I have never spent time in jail. Not to say that I was always innocent. I've just been very lucky. There were many times in my younger days that I probably should have been thrown in jail. Once, I was actually at the police station(after being handcuffed and taken downtown) and I was about to be sent to juvey when my parents finally showed up to get me out of there.
