Phobia thinks there should be a Planet Tailgate at games - Page 5

ChiefsPlanet has 10x as many registered users and has been around 4x as long - yet, their participation level was quadruple anything I've ever seen with ChiefsPlanet. That is probably attributed to their leadership, because I was shocked at how organized and well done their events were.

We need to find somebody who is willing to take the tailgating ball and run with it. Hell, we could eventually even buy a ChiefsPlanet tailgating bus or something cool like that.... We have the numbers, now we just need to find the people to make it happen.

I like the planet tailgating idea. Sounds like people have a hard time finding B5. I would suggest down by where the pope/ hearst guy is by the entrace to Arrowhead in first few rows by the aisle in the "D" parking lot. It's easy to find. People can stop by on their way into the stadium.

Nah,we love our spot.2 port-a-pots on either side of the island and we back in so the vehicles are parked towards the main road.Can be out of Arrowhead in 5 minutes.

I have a great place to park at the Stadium. There's PLENTY of room to have a festivus. Who every is putting this together. Drop me an e-mail and we can discuss the location and such.

I'm trying to figure out how people even get to the same spot every time...............Seems like every game I come to, we get waved on, back to L.

This week, I have a red pass, but I'm not exactly sure how that will "help" me get closer to B....

Go in gate 4 (it's off Raytown road), get there early and you will be parked in lot B. If you go in any other gate, they will park you in the nearest "red" parking lot.

Well I pull it off by getting there very early. I usually wait in line at the gate for about an hour. If you're in that first early rush of cars, the lot attendants will let you take off to wherever you want to go. Just act like you know where you're going. It also helps to use the gates that are close to where you want to be. I use a gate on the west side of the stadium that is accessed by side roads. It may not be known to as many people.

As far as getting out early, I tailgate post game. We're usually pulling onto empty roads by the time we leave.

Someone in our group(4 vehicles)is always within 20-30 cars of the gate.First car there puts out chairs,coolers etc to hold spot for others.I'm sure this is much easier done since we don't park in one of the lots.

For the first time in 8 years,we had a group set up in our spot last week so we all but parked on top of them.I realize it's first come etc but when you've been somewhere for that long it kind of becomes home.We're now planning to leave St Joe earlier than normal.

THe thing is........B5 is an area of a parking lot.........Its close to the stadium, close to some porta johns, and relatively central located.

It would be entirely possible to meet in the same area, without imposing on the DartGate folks.
My small group will be at the 37 tailgate and Any other game I attend, Unless uninvited, I'm dropping by to say hi to the dartgod clan. I'll be the modest, handsome, well hung gentleman in the Delaney Jersey....don't be shy....say hi.

THAT was based on my other tailgate spot.

Since I'm pulling the trailergater this Sunday for the 37 tailgate the plan is to still leave at 7a.m.If my count is correct I have 6 of you staying that I'm assuming will be wanting to use the guest shower.

Like Arrowhead parking,the hot water will be first come first served.

Excellent. I'm going to try to convince the wife to tear away from our tailgate for a while to go over to B5. Seeing as she's pregnant, she might not want to walk across the lot, so I may be coming alone. I'd love to have done the whole Planet weekend, but our football weekends in KC usually are focused on spending time with her family.
