Need help from Musicians finding sheet music
I am starting up TRYING to play the piano. I am a fan of Tom Sellecks' "Jessie Stone". The main theme, "Paradise-Jessies Theme" by Jeff Beal, is hypnotic and think I can learn to play it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdBNxYTj1EU I have found a bunch for "Paradise" by Cold Play. Frustrated. A long time ago, "Memories of Green" by Vangelis in the original Blade Runner movie convinced to pick up the piano again. I looked for years and finally found it last year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cg0cmhjdiLs The sheet music is a little to advanced for me....yet. Finding sheet music, with my little experience is frustrating. |

The farthest I got on the piano was playing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "Silent Night" with one finger.
My music career never quite took off.

So what's your question? Are you looking for easier versions of the pieces you want to play?

ANY version. Simpler would be better but I figure more advanced I can figure out. Not wicked stuff though.
Usually on piano sheet music, there is a top treble line that is more advanced and a lower treble line that is easier. Like I said, it took me +20 years to find "Memories of Green". Even though Blade Runner came out long before, I finally found it. It is advanced and just starting to try and learn it. It will take me 6 months before I can play it well. [QUOTEThe farthest I got on the piano was playing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "Silent Night" with one finger.][/QUOTE] Bout the same with me. I don't have a musical bone in my body, but I can read sheet music a bit. |

I've always been impressed with anyone that can play the piano or guitar. I can pic and clunk but never had the fortitude to stick with it.

But as I get better, I find relaxing enjoyment. In fact, no matter at what level, it is fun to try, even twinkle little star. A sense of accomplishment....not the same as computer games and leveling up I have a decent ear. So I think if I could learn how to chord, I could cheat. If you can point someone to the song online, maybe you could use a music transcriber service? Fiverr has a few that seem pretty cheap.

Yea I tried all of those. I can get it on chordu for cords per se, but not sheet music.
I had thought about reaching out to Jeff Beal, but betting on him not allowing me the music for copy right issues. I will give it shot though, thanks. This is where I was at trying to find "Memories of Green Oh well, I thought that maybe musical types might have a super secret spot to score scores. |
