Another big "L". No offense in the first half at all. We held Tomlinson pretty well but Gates tore Sammy Knight up really bad. Also, the OL let them beat the crap out of Trent most of the game

We pissed away two redzone opportunites. Zero points from either trip.

There were other gaffes and miscues but that is essentially why we lost.

We had plenty of emotion. There was no quit in this team today. The playcalling wasn't too great though, yes. And the blocking sucked for the most part.

The play calling in the red zone left a lot to be desired. Running right???
Emotion on the offensive side during the first half sucked but so did the play calling... Just a crappy defeat caused by cute playcalling by Al and the OL getting dominated in passing situations (especially in the 1st half)

I think the play calling sucked. Look at what we did in the second half when we finally started going downfield. Trent ended up throwing over 300 yards in the last 2 quarters. If we hadn't blown those red zone trips, we could have won based only on what we accomplished after halftime.

If they had actually tried any of that in the first half, we would have been in good shape.

i got to hear some of it today at work. talked to the old lady from work after the game and she told me about the game. i told her to delete it from tivo i didnt want to watch,thank god for double time sundays. even she said the play calling sucked and the chiefs looked old. but i`m a chief fan from birth to death, sooooo. what a waste of a great offense the last three years.
