You’re right. I’m not going to do any legwork but off the top of my head..

Chiefs AFC Championship game appearances:
1970-2017- one
2018-2023- six

Chiefs Super Bowl appearances:
1970-2017- zero
2018-2023- four

That’s all that needs to be said lol sums it up rather nicely
