Austin Reiter working out for the Saints
Hey guys, so my Saints look to be without Erik McCoy for a few weeks due to injury, and they have decided to bring in Austin Reiter for a tryout. What’s just deal? How has he started in the last two Super Bowls and is still on the street? Why did the Chiefs let him walk away? Thanks.

Not great at run blocking, OK pass blocker.

We got rid of him because we got some elite talent in there in Creed Humphrey.

If the guards suck, he'll suck.

If the guards are decent, he'll be serviceable. Won't provide a ton of push in the run game, won't blow shit in the pass game. He's good enough to contribute on a good team, he's not good enough to change the direction of a bad unit.

We got rid of him because Humphrey is good. But IMO, as long as he's cheap, he's probably worth it unless he's out of shape.

He's fine.

He'll do a solid job in pass protection and be a mess in the run game. Big DTs will dog-walk him a bit (Vea will destroy him).

He's an adequate player. He's unlikely to be the reason you win anything or lose anything. Most of the time you won't notice him.
