KU drops to No. 18 in coaches’ poll; MU leaps to 10th

A little high for Mizzou. Just right for KU.

Kind of ironic, eh. Especially considering that they used to always claim that KU fans would try to switch the topic to hoops in a football discussion.

In the ESPN poll it was.

Im not gunna deny Daniel fell apart after the Nebraska game, but he still threw for 4400 yards, 39 TD and a crazy 72% completion rating.

The defense lost the Texas, OU and Kansas games. Daniel lost 2 NFL receivers and experience at OL for his senior year. Danario Alexander wasn't near 100% and Coffman was hobbled at the end of the year, so all he had was Maclin, Saunders and Perry who underachieved once again.

I know your a KU fan, so I guess I understand your stupitidy and bias towards hating Chase Daniel, I mean he did ruin your perfect little season last year.
Of course KU fans could bring up the injuries to some key players that really hurt us in the MU game in 2007. Goes both ways, silly little MUron.

Yep. How many turnovers did he have against KU this year? 3? 4? Yep, it was all on the defense.

#1 - I don't think MU should be there, but as I said, they got the benefit of teams ahead of them losing.

#2 - Tell me one other team, excluding UNC, that could have 4 losses in 2 1/2 weeks (I don't care who they play or what their rankings are) and drop less than 10 spots. Must have been the impressive overtime win against Miami and the great matchup against Virginia that kept them in the top 10.

To top it all off, they got HAMMERED by Clemson. There is no reason they should be in the top 10 and you know it.

MU, coupled with teams losing ahead of them, got the benefit and are fine right where they are at.

Duke, losing 4 of 6 and getting hammered by Clemson, should be in the mid-teens.

So, to answer your question straight forward, yes. MU should be ahead of Duke.

They are if you can't actually put somebody in over them. The only team I'd consider doing it with is Marquette, and they got blown out last week.

We're only 50% done in BB. We'll see what the outcome of the 2nd game is, yeah?

What exactly is so funny about that? Why do people think OU is some unstoppable team? They've nearly lost to Iowa State, A&M, and Colorado in recent weeks. Both MU and KU can beat them if they are playing their best.
