I’m going to suggest that we drafted the better QB in that draft.

What a terrible pick. One year starter at NC and they traded up a shit ton to get him. Huge fugg up and now Foles? Total shit show. Not too mention Mack isn't worth the money or the picks. Gruden won that shit.

I will. We drafted the best QB since Manning was drafted, maybe Wilson or Rogers but would you rather have them? I wouldn't.

Remember when Patrick Lavon Mahomes was available, and the Chicago Bears elected to draft Mitchell Trubisky?

That’s gotta go down as one of the worst picks in history. They overpaid that red headed ostrich and then traded up one pick to get Trubisky who had almost zero experience and then did a bad job of coaching him up to the position.

Total fail.

He could be a possibly be a decent reclamation project for Andy, though.

He did have a stellar final season in college, 68ish comp%, 30/6 td/int and he's mobile. But, he obviously played over his head.

I don't see Foles as any big improvement either.

Cam???

No team in NFL history (Bears been there since day one) have had a worst collection of QB's. Hell, a case can be made that old timer Sid Luckman who is a HOFer was their best ever, and if he wasn't, then.....Jay Cutler?

To make it even worse, the Bears traded the 67th pick to the 49ers move up to get Trubisky.

The 49ers then traded that pick to the Saints who moved up to get....Alvin Kamara. And the pick the 49ers got for that move up lead to...Fred Warner.

Ouch

Hindsight’s 20/20 of course. But it’s amazing Mahomes didn’t go number 1 overall. Myles Garrett is a good player, but more impactful than Mahomes? No.
