All offseason that's all we wanted.

There's definitely room for improvement, but when they go out and give up less than 400 yards of offense, 4.5 ypc and 19 points, well, it's hard for me to get that upset at them.

Sure, they need to be better, but if you had told me before the game that's what they're gonna do, I'd have said the Chiefs win 38-19.

It's an offensive squad. They do the heavy lifting.
The biggest reason KC lost is simple: Andy Reid had one of his games where he passed at a 4-1 ration compared to running.

He did this while having the entire left side of his OL injured, his starting QB hobbled, both starting WR's out, and Kelce having a bad game and he put EVERYTHING on Mahomes. I don't know how the hell "We should run to protect our OL and QB" didn't' come up at halftime when it was a 1 score game.

But the run defense on this team is absolute ass and it's going to be a problem.

Yes, it's definitely A problem.

But if the offense does what it's supposed to do, it can be minimized.

I also don't know what you do when that happens. I'd rather put it all on the MVP QB I have, but there's no winning either way. They weren't gonna run it very well either.

They would have ran it fine if Andy hadn't benched our best RB for fumbling. Damien Williams has been useless this year.

AT one point they were 27-4 run/pass.

Mahomes is great, but let's not try to make his job as hard as possible. Especially with all the issues I laid out in the earlier post. We're going to get him killed. This is the NFL, not Texas Tech. Let's not do a 75/25 pass/run split. Being one dimensional does the defense's job for them.

Reid said in the press conference that he liked some matchups in the secondary due to the Colts injuries and he thought he could take advantage of that. I dont think he expected our oline to get dominated the way it did. Running more wouldnt have worked. Our oline was getting the shit beat out of them on pass and run plays.

I dont put this loss on Reid it is because of bad play by our oline and run defense. Nothing a HC can really do when the oline is gettinf dominated.
