Snowpocalypse? Maybe?

They're actually still calling for snow here. They're calling for 8-12 inches with 50 MPH wind. That would suck.

However, the 2 times they've said we were going to get 12 inches, we got a whole lot of not a damn thing.

Brace for impact boys.

Solid mother ****ing ice underneath all the snow. I had to break out the acetylene torch to pull out a ball hitch and switch to 2 5/16.

Wind gusted well over 50 and tore off some siding.

Winter can get ****ed. All of you assholes that prefer winter over summer can catch AIDS from a 400 pound prison inmate.

Good luck with that. Ice is so tough to deal with. If you do drive on that ice rink be sure to do it in the daytime. Death is tough to come back from.

Yes. **** winter. This would have been fine if it wouldn’t have rained first AND the wind wouldn’t have blown.

Yeah. They’re not doing that. I’m pretty sure it’s the same system as when we were in college. And they’ve ****ed up the website right nice so it’s hard as **** to get to.

Frankly I wouldn’t go. The part that is the worst is the ****ing wasteland where you can’t do shit if you’re stuck. Pretty good chunk was shut down today and even if they get it clean I don’t think it’s supposed to get warm enough for the brine to work.

Watch some episodes of "Life Below Zero", they might convince you to go the snow machine route.

Ah, I drove it from Miami, OK to Tulsa one time, was kinda disappointed with how little there was to see along the way.

Did you find the stretch outside of Miami that is only one lane?

Eh, it doesn't really look that bad on I-70. They're showing it being packed in spots between Colby and Hays, but that's not very far, and it'll be better by tomorrow afternoon. I've driven in worse, I assure you.

My buddy came back from Plainville today and said they closed 70 at hays and it was pretty awful around there.

It was probably for blowing snow and the wind is supposed to be down tomorrow. But its supposed to be in the low 20's so be the hell careful.

In my experience KDOT is very good at cleaning their highways of snow and ice. But wind is the killer just blows right back as the plow moves past.
