Regret, Regret....

I truely regret having had my back surgery. I have more pain now than ever in my hip and back whereas it used to be mostly in my leg.

I talked to the surgeon last week about it and he said I went back to work to soon and he wished I could find a different line of work, he said the kind of work I do that I will probably always have pain cause I keep it inflamed. He said he moved around tendons and ligaments and muscle and removed a large herniation and I went back to work before it had time to heal.

I cannot change jobs and even when I finish school the work is still hard manual labor.

I don't know what to do....I had hopes of being better after surgery and now its worse than ever.

Negative reinforcement is reserved for people with narcissistic, sociopathic tendencies. There really aren't that many of them on Earth, but we have one right here at CP. I'm scared she's going to go beat one of her invalid patients tomorrow in response to this lashing. Other than that though, mission accomplished!

"Don't you get lonely sitting there all alone"

I said no my boyfriend came up almost every evening.

He then asked if I would like to see him naked...this boy is 18 years old!!!

I told him he was younger than my children and I had absolutely no interest in him naked or otherwise. I also told him to lose my number and I would be getting someone else to mow for me.

He said he was sorry and if he could still mow for me and for me to please not be mad at him.

I of course refused to let him mow and asked him to never contact me again via text, phone or in person. He lives right down below me. I now do lock my doors at all times and close every blind in the house at night. He kinda gave me the spooks. How weird can things get in this world?

I understand they are twice as strong but I have been on pain meds long enough you would think I would have a tolerance built up, and sick my reasoning that 1/2 of a roxy would be the same as a 7.5 percocet I would have the same reaction, but no I get sick.

Has anyone on here taken them? How did you react to them if you have.

Has anyone on here had decompression surgery on the L5 and S1? I would like to know what its like when you go home and how well it releived your pain. Or if you had problems after surgery that ended up making you regret having it to start with.

Input will be helpful as I am very scared.

If I was in this position I would be pounding the pavement everyday looking for something and start looking to move, but she hasn't. Now I don't know what to do. I mention something everyday about her needing to find a better job and how after she starts to work she should be able to save in a month or so to move.

She even acts like she has the time to be particular about where she moves.
Damn I don't know what to do cause I keep feeling that I am supporting her I beleive we may not be friends much longer, it may end badly.

What should I do and how should I go about doing it?

Has anyone had anything like this? Any idea of what it is? i know I work at a hospital but a Dr. isn't going to diagnose you without you being seen. I don't want people here to know about my back and neck problems due to my job and the fact I need it to pay my bills.

This shit makes me sick, thinking someone deserves to be treated better or shown more attention because of their job status. I know this probably happens in every profession, say you work in a plant and the General Manager or the President shows up of course there are ass kissing going on, but in the medical field with sick patients its different everyone deserves to be treated the same. I will not treat her badly or ignore this patient but damned if she will be getting treated any different.

He lives in a small town where trouble sometimes finds you, if he goes to the Marines it will get him out of there and hopefully start him a new life with a bright future.

Seriously though, I know who I've railed on here and who I haven't. I can count them on one hand. You're not one of them.
