Damn this place went apeshit after that Solder pick. Good to see this mock is back on the saddle.

No, I was in earnest. I think there's better value to be had at NT later, and Ayers just doesn't impress me, though I could be wrong about him.

So who would everybody go with if you were Scott Pioli?
I think this mock, minus my highway robbery of Nick Fairley, is fairly realistic. I think I'd go with Phil Taylor. |

1. He doesn't know the first thing about his assigned team. 2. He hasn't been keeping up with any Draft news at all, considering he couldn't fathom Julio Jones going top 10. 3. He didn't even inspect the OP before posting. 4. Cried like a bitch when his horrendous pick was horrendous. I mean, I hate to kick a man when he's down, but we could have had chiefscafan in this thing. |

I would go Taylor. Pioli loves himself some d-linemen, we all know that. The Chiefs biggest needs are C, NT and WR. Getting Big Phil here allows the Chiefs to fill those other areas of need in the next couple of rounds. Could they get a NT later? Sure. However, at this particular juncture value meets need in a good way for the Chiefs. Too early to take the best C or WR left on the board, IMO.

After having seemingly no interest in Cody last year, I doubt Taylor is even on our radar.

Carimi (with the right to change my mind). But, currently, this is whom I'd probably select. Tough situation.
