Arrowhead: Fan vs Cops

David Keitel, the fan who posted the video, said he started filming as soon as he came across the incident during yesterday's Cowboys-Chiefs game, so he has no idea what precipitated the arrest.

Police told KMBC-TV that they were called to respond to an unruly fan.

Police said the man then kicked an officer in the groin, severely injuring the officer. Another officer was also injured by the man, suffering lacerations to the head, arms and knees, police said.

I had no idea before I just Google'd it but a "Fifth" is 25.6 ounces. So that's either 25 shots or 12 double shots of whiskey before the other alcohol he consumed. He's lucky he didn't die of alcohol poisoning.

25 shots of whiskey. Mind=blown.

I thought shots were 2 oz? wouldn't that be 12-13 shots? Either way, we started at 7am instead of 8:30, so there's a little extra time. And yeah, he already had torn the edge of his shorts and scraped his knee before they even went in. He was still WASTED after the game three hours later. I'd have been dead. He's a taller dude who tends to drink a lot at tailgates (never that much though). I'm sure he could hold his liquor, but I couldn't believe it either.

His blood alcohol content had to be in the 30% range.

I had mentioned that it would be either 25 shots or 12 (we have both but stick to the one ouncers, especially if we have guests).

Either way, 25 ounces of 80 proof alcohol consumed in a few hours is insane.

Depending on which bar you are in, a shot ranges from 1oz (more traditional but less adhered too now), 1 1/4oz (typical pour today in my experience) and 1 1/2oz.

Guys like that were the reason that the Eagles built a holding cell in their new stadium.
They have one at Arrowhead too! 3 actually.

This in a big way.

I'm glad the hangover that followed was his and not mine. Actually, it is only Tuesday, he probably still isn't quite right.

I'm a chick, so my terminology is probably all wrong. He said he had a fifth at the start of the morning. This is what he had. Thinking about it, that just doesn't look like a fifth to me?

I'm not liquor expert, but I believe it's pronounced "Fiff"

Fifth is old school terminology. These days the sizes are 750 (ml), liter or a handle.

I can't tell from the picture, was it a 750 or a liter? I'm still not sure which used to be called a fith. This will help answer that.

Looks like it's 750 mL (around 25 oz). Still, yeah, he should not have even been let in the stadium at that point. The point is, people are, and then they wonder why they have troubles like the OP.

Yes, a "fifth" is a fifth of a gallon, or 25.6 ounces. It's sold as a 750ml bottle, which is what's pictured.

Outside of "Airline bottles", alcohol is generally sold as a "Pint" (16 ounces), a "Fifth" (25.6 ounces) or in the large 1.75 liter bottles (59 ounces).
