Arrowhead: Fan vs Cops

David Keitel, the fan who posted the video, said he started filming as soon as he came across the incident during yesterday's Cowboys-Chiefs game, so he has no idea what precipitated the arrest.

Police told KMBC-TV that they were called to respond to an unruly fan.

Police said the man then kicked an officer in the groin, severely injuring the officer. Another officer was also injured by the man, suffering lacerations to the head, arms and knees, police said.

It's not right, but it's the way the world works. If you have numbers in a detainment situation no physical force other than tackling and grappling should be used.
I have no problem with you lighting that guy up. Nor do I with the officer when the guy was trying to bite him.

Chiefs' priority #1: Make money

Dealing with drunk idiot fans is justified when you're selling $9 beers by the thousands. As long as fans aren't killing each other and those beer profits Re rolling, they don't give two shits.

The Chiefs making money off fans willing to pay for $9 beers has nothing to do with losers like this guy drinking/drugging to ridiculous excess in public and paying the price.

don't sell beer at the games.
would never ever happen, but it would solve a ton of shit. Let people get wrecked out in the tail-gate and let them sober up.

about 13 years ago, my buddy and I got some upper level nose bleed season tickets for dirt cheap. I remember we were playing the Rams after their SB and we kicked the snot out of them when we were underdogs. A group of 3 dudes in front of us, and one of them was passed out for the entire game. He finally woke up with about 3 minutes to go and was like "Whoa!....we're winning"?

I could be wrong but it appeared as though the dude tried to bite the cops hand right before the cop punched him.

That would be impossible to keep track of something like a drink max. Plus, there's no telling how much they drink at home before the game, on the way to the stadium, or in the parking lot. We just have to live with the drunken tards and allow the police to do their jobs.

Probably wasn't a matter of drink IN the stadium. We had a guy with us finish off a fifth of Jack, have a few beers, and drink several sips of Apple Pie Moonshine, and was barely able to make it into the game. Didn't last long before going back out to the RV. Dude is cool, but no way should he have even been let into the stadium. I'm surprised there aren't [enforced] rules about people that drunk being let into the stadium to begin with.

Then, after the game before leaving, he found a pint of Jack that someone else had brought and started on it. Next thing I know, there's a crash, and he has fallen over two coolers, smashed a cupboard door, and spilled about a half of the pint on a 14 year old boy sitting across from me. I thought he'd passed out, but he just laid there a minute and then got up and went back to the back of the RV. He was loud and obnoxious until he finally passed out about 20 minutes from Springfield. He definitely made up for the others not drinking as much, and he's not one that normally gets that bad.

IMO, that video does not support a claim of excessive force by the KCPD police officers.

Once you have done enough to give the cops a reason to arrest you, they are not going to change their mind just because you roll up in a ball and use all of your strength to try to stop them from taking you somewhere.

Guys like that were the reason that the Eagles built a holding cell in their new stadium.

No it doesn't. You weren't a law enforcement officer and therefore not properly trained in the use of force and susceptible to company policy.

Good grief. That guy needs counseling.

I've never understood the correlation between sporting events and getting drunk. Sure, I'll have a couple of Dodger dogs and a beer if I'm at an evening baseball game but I won't drink to excess or see a professional sporting event as an opportunity to get wasted.
