Notice that is all he talks about? The throw?

The 92 percent of the offense.

But, doesn't mention the 3 turnovers in one quarter, or the fact that for the second season in a row, he misplayed the last possession of the game to ultimately keep his team from winning.

Those are things that just he doesn't care about.

KAEP IS GOD.

I cant wait for them to sign him to a ridiculous contract and watch him fail horribly.

Going to the super bowl and almost doing it again equals failing horribly. The mind of a chiefs fan.

All we've heard here is that the season is a failure unless you win the SB. If that's the case, what's the difference, they failed, in large part, because kaep didn't make the play when needed.

He made plays to get them there so there's that

Of course, it's much more nuanced than that.

The ultimate goal is to get to, and win, the Super Bowl.

But within that context, one team has been to 3 straight conference championships, and the other team hasn't been to a conference championship game in over 2 decades.

Of course.

I'd also say a team coming off its worst season in history, one in which it's front office was toxic, and they had a player go on a drunken rampage an kill his fg and himself at the facility, win 11 games an apparently completely change the environment of the organization with a completely new staff in its first year make the playoffs a success.

If smith were to win a single playoff game on the road no less, he'd be hailed as a god. But a guy in his second year as a starter wins a bunch of them and sucks.

I think the season was certainly a good one, especially given the factors you mention.

It would be off either way, as using wins and losses to gage qb play is extremely myopic.

And because there's extremely more to it than that. Second year said qb plays on arguably the most talented team in the league and hasn't grown much at all in his two years starting in terms of playing qb from the pocket and now wants 18 million dollars per year.

That's funny, because anybody who had the temerity to criticize smith's play when the team was 9-0 or whatever they were, heard nothing but "he just wins, can't you just enjoy it?"

As Parker says, it's nuanced.

Each season can be labeled a success or failure.

If you have 10 successful seasons, but have no Lombardi Trophy to show for it, then ultimately, you failed.

That's funny because they were wrong then, just like anyone who wants to criticize him for the playoff loss is wrong

Yeah because the team around him, isn't considered to be one of the three complete teams in the entire league.

It was all HIM. Yet, Alex Smith, with less talent on that very same team, gets BLAMED for not getting them there, despite the fact that he DIDNT commit the turnovers to cost them.

See the ISSUE here?

Not true at all. Not even in the slightest bit.

Everyone was saying the Offense had to pick up the slack.

So, this is just more bullshit for you to spew. Everyone KNEW the offense had to get it together.
