From a ratings standpoint, the NFL has to be hoping for a Rams-Chiefs SB. The way things are developing, that has potential to be one of the highest rated Super Bowls in history.
I won't be surprised if the Chiefs receive favorable officiating the rest of the way. |

I can vision Peters in a corner blitz on Mahomes and taking a cheap shot and Mitch morse breaking that little bastard in half.

They’ve pretty much admitted that McVay’s got his hand up Goff’s ass like a puppet, whispering defensive reads into his ear prior to the snap. Obviously he has to make the plays himself, but often times he doesn’t and he seems to lack the improvisational ability that the greats have in droves. He looks pretty good, though. Like Tannehill he’s pretty much been improving consistently every year. |

The Rams haven’t left the state and have played three home games. Defenses are never great Thursday and they got to play their toughest defensive opponent so far at home on Thursday. The Chargers actually could have won that game had they not had a terrible sequence of giving away a TD. They are definitely good but I don’t think they are so dominant as to basically just be waiting for the Super Bowl victory like Golden State. |

They're beatable.
It's true that their offense functions like a machine. And when you want to break a machine, you throw a sabot in the damn thing. The Rambs' weakness is also their strength. Break the machine by destroying their timing. Our sabot is the pass rush. If we force Goff off his spot and make him improvise, the machine will sputter and die. He's instructed to throw the ball away if he doesn't see his read. So let him. Then, you assign that linebacker dude from Dallas to shadow Gurley and ... voila! ... victory. FAX |
