Where are there snaps to be earned?

RB? The Chiefs simply are not going to bench Clyde, though they may reduce his snaps. The Chiefs like McKinnon and Pacheco, who they're not going to bench when December arrives. I don't think there are snaps there.

Two places, in order of likelihood:

RT -- Wylie is JAG and Niang is imaginary
DT -- a snap-hole opened up in the wake of Wharton's injury

These are the only two positions that make sense to me.
I'd agree to most of that. Maybe you add another DE in case something happens to Clark. Is he still in legal trouble? Stallworth filled Wharton's hole, so I don't see that happening. As much as I'd like to see Wylie on the next Greyhound out of town, you'd have his contract to pay out.

Wylie is about the price you pay for a good utility lineman, which is what he is.

Stallworth wasn't active last week. So I do think there are snaps at the DT position still to earn.

Did you ever consider that Hardman or CEH or some other player could be included in a trade, thus opening up said rotation spot?

I just find it hilarious picturing a Brian Burns trade on the table and a coach/FO member saying "We can't do that because he will eat up Clark's and Dunlap's snaps!"

Or DJ Moore with Juju, MVS and Hardman.

If I could get a better pass rusher or CMC, you bet your ass one of those guys would sit.

What are we talking about here?

Almost as hilarious as saying that they wouldn't trade a 1st round pick because the draft is in KC. If you can trade it for a young player that can help...who the **** cares?

You are right, Frank Clark was a contributor to the good side on Sunday.
Not sure why people are pouncing on Reid over that. Who wouldn't take a timeout when they have a team backed up near the endzone on 3rd and 13?

If he didn't take a TO and they got the stop, everyone would be calling him a moron and bashing his clock management skills. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Those other two issues you mention are real problems, though. But it's what you get with Reid. I don't know how you fix that.

You can fix the fact that the HOF passrusher the Bills acquired wreaked havoc on a backup guard playing full time RT snaps.

That last thing is very fixable, and I imagine it's on the top of their shopping list right now.
So you actually think it was a horrible decision to call a TO on 3rd and 13 with the Bills near their own endzone?

Because it gave Buffalo time to regroup. The D had the momentum. The time out stopped it.
