Free agent stats were used. The Saints not only sat Drew Brees, but they deactivated him. I wish there was a better way of determining if a player was able to play and his NFL team just decided not to. Week 17 is the only one that usually falls under this category.

Just FYI, I checked the code and playoffs are pretty simple:

Division winners and top two non-division winners make it.

Seeding is:
1. W-L percentage
2. Net points
3. Coin fiip

During the first week of the playoffs, the wildcards duke it out to see who moves on.

Then the WC and division winners bracket it out over the next 3 weeks.
