He was as good in Jacksonville as Tyreek’s best game. It was amazing to see.

It is only one game but I think Watkins being comfortable with his surroundings (first time in 3 years he is returning to the same team), his health being 100% and the Chiefs being an offensive juggernaut are all contributing factors to his early success.
In regards to your comment about this "new Sammy" being the difference against New England- he went for 114 yards in the AFC Final, I'm not sure how much more you can ask from him. More worried about the defense- specifically against the run vs the Patriots. |

He looked faster than he's ever been before. He was able to start/stop/cut on a dime.
And his RAC abilities went from good to elite against a top tier defense. |

Imagine a trio of Randy Moss, Michael Irvin and Tony Gonzalez.
That's how I imagine this offense if Watkins holds up.

The guy is flat out better. Significantly. It’s really that simple. The Pats allowed Sammy to do that last year while they focused on Hill (and Kelce). That’s what BB does. He showed up and played well, no doubt. But this version would REALLY make them pay if they don’t respect him too. |

He has always been a beast when healthy. 114 yards in the AFCCG.

I think the reason Sammy looks different is he was probably favoring that foot a lot before.
I think they fixed the issues completely with that foot and now he has a lot more confidence in cutting off it.
