when i was in a wheelchair for a year, i had to find things to do and my neighbor had all 10 seasons on dvd, im like **** it, let me give it a go. Its pretty funny. This show actually got me into watching TV shows. Now i have seen alot! lol

Friends was reliable for a solid laugh all the way through.
And when you weren't laughing, you were pleasantly distracted by the view.
And when they were REALLY on, it was some of the best gut-busters of the era

The first 4 or 5 seasons were really good. The quality dropped off after though as all the characters became caricatures of themselves. Joey was the dumb one, Ross was the geek, etc...

I think the first couple seasons were at the top, but then they tapered off until season eight. It was the best IMO.

Saw the finale last night, but season nine still hasn't recorded.

I agree with Baby Lee, there have been many gut buster moments.

I think that's what made it so good and unique. No attachment to characters and just random, normal events happening to them that made it so good. The writing was fantastic. Although after awhile, George being a constant downer did get very old.
