Well Willie Gay broke his college QB’s face and we still drafted him. Not saying we’re going after Thomas but this kinda stuff hasn’t stopped us before

Yeah, Reid and Veach seem to go off their talking with guys and what they found out about the guy thats not public. But, safety isn't our biggest concern so why take a chance on a locker room distraction?

We tried to sign him last year and he was basically a Chief til Mosley decided to sign with the Jets clearing up cap for the Ravens.

I'd sign him if he were still as good as he used to be. Problem is he looked like a guy who lost a step last year.

The Chiefs just won a Super Bowl with Dan Sorensen at safety.

The Chiefs don't need the lockerroom drama that Earl Thomas would bring.

Liked him a lot. Tried to acquire him on two separate occasions.

You know Thomas’ agent has already been in touch with Veach. As close as they were to a deal last year, you know there will be communication. The only question is if the Chiefs still want him.

Guess we’ll find out.

Did Willie have a history of punching QB's in the face?
