Why Berry has been day-to-day for three months.
Berry was said to have a condition a specialized shoe could fix.

He hasn’t undergone surgery, even though if he had done it off the bat, he could have returned by playoff time.

He has been described as “literally day to day” for 70 days.

He could have been placed on IR and brought back, the team has instead opted to use a roster spot on him.

What is going on?

Berry was going to go on IR but Sorensen got hurt and placed on the IR. They held off putting Berry on it because they didn’t want to waste both return spots on both of them.

What I don't understand is how the Chiefs can list him as "doubtful" every single week. Aren't there strict league rules when it comes to manipulating injury reports?? He isn't practicing. The Chiefs know damn well he isn't going to play. Don't they have to list him as "out"
