The Ravens select WR Dwayne Harris, Eastern Carolina.
Harris is a dynamic speedster from a smaller school, and can return kicks. The Ravens needed to add some young playmakers down the field, and the combination of the smaller, speedier Dwayne Harris with the bigger possession guy in Niles Paul gives the Ravens a good chance to land a quality youth at the position. |

I had to reread through the list twice to make sure this kid wasnt drafted yet and I am amazed he is still available. During the combine Deion and Mayock praised his abilities and even though he ran a slow 40, he aced everything else and can surely make an impact on special teams if nothing else.
Shiloh Keo, SS/PR, Idaho I am very happy with both drafts I am having so far. Lonos Broncos are on the clock |

Looks like my Patriots draft is done:
1a. Aldon Smith 1b. Cameron Heyward 2a. Mikel LeShoure 2b. Rodney Hudson 3a. Mark Herzlich 3b. Marcus Gilbert 4. Kendric Burney 5. Pernell McPhee 6. Jeff Maehl I'll put that up against anyone's. I feel like I substantially improved the front seven, and as a result, a horrible pass defense. The team should have more depth and dynamism from the rushers, the OL should be greatly improved along with added depth, and they have a reliable RB for the first time since Corey Dillon.

Oops! According to walterfootball.com the Lions do have a 6th rounder.
http://www.walterfootball.com/draft2011_6.php No biggie, since it's after the fact but lets double check the seventh round before we dive into it. |

The Chargers only had 6 picks, but 5 of them were in the 1st 3 rounds. Not sure I could have done much better, and like Hamas, I'd put this draft up against anyone's - though I do think HJ had the best draft.
Ryan Kerrigan - OLB Allen Bailey - DE Curtis Brown - CB Greg Little - WR Orlando Franklin - OT Jeremy Beal - DE/OLB |

The Patriots should be nice and give the Panthers back their 2nd round pick. I'll even be nice and give you Armanti Edwards for it.

If the Jets let Braylon Edwards go, they'll have Baldwin, Holmes, and Jericho Cotchery as their wideouts. That's a pretty good stable along with Dustin Keller, but I think this guy could step in and end up anywhere from a #2 to a #4. When they keep Santonio out wide, I have a feeling he'd be a good fit in the slot, and why not give your QB another weapon?
The New York Jets select Ronald Johnson, WR, USC

Hamas you did quite well with the Pats. All those extra picks don't mean a thing if you can't identify talent.

Well, with the Browns being done making their picks I would also put their draft up with anyones.
Julio Jones, WR, Alabama Christian Ballard, DL, Iowa Sione Fua, DT, Stanford Derrick Locke, RB, Kentucky Nathan Enderle, QB, Idaho Jalil Brown, CB, Colorado Roy Helu, RB, Nebraska With that draft, their front 4 should be much improved (they are moving back to a 4-3)...They have a good OL but were lacking in the skill positions so I gave them a shot in the arm with Julio Jones, Derrick Locke and Roy Helu and gave them a corner that is good enough to step into the nickle spot to open the year and hopefully gives them a long term answer across from Haden at starting corner. Enderle was just icing on the cake. I see a great value at need spots with every pick. |
