Interesting. I'd never even heard of such a thing until this local pizzeria started doing it, and they only started in the last year or two. They're the only place in my life radius that does it, and every place should. Cream cheese should be as common as pepperoni.

I like that green pistachio pudding with whipped cream cheese topping and pie crust bottom that comes around Xmas. Never thought of it on a pizza pie though.
