Is CEH a JAG?

Is Clyde just another guy?

I’m writing a dissertation on this.

Thanks.

Dillon doesn’t fit our scheme. Swift and Akers are not better but not much worse.

Taylor, Gibson and Dobbins are significantly better. I’d take either over Clyde yesterday

Does CEH really fit our scheme? He's insignificant in the passing game, so that makes me wonder. I think they thought he would fit, but what they thought has not consistently transferred to the field.

Gibson has been pretty disappointing this year, and if CEH’s rare fumbles bother you, I could only imagine what you’d be saying about Gibson…

Looks like Gibson has been dealing with a bad shin injury this year

Yes, I am aware, and it has little to do with his fumbling issues.

Jesus ****ing Christ you guys it's his second season in the NFL and he is 22 years old let the kid learn and watch him blossom.. See what he can do second half of the season. If he sucks he sucks but he deserves a chance to prove his worth.

I guess I have higher expectations from our 1st round RB.

We all have higher expectations because we expect to win every week and these guys are Super Human that never make mistakes. Clyde is 22 years old and still learning his possession in the pros. He did indeed excel last year before his injury so just be a little patient with him and then check in if he was worth the pick.

The Chiefs struggled out of the gates but under Andy Read have been able to turn it around and they are coming out of a good timed bye week. Things will pick up and this offense will take off and CEH will be a big part of it. Maybe there were better backs that we could have picked that's fine they really didn't have much to go on from lack of combine, and if we win a Super Bowl with or without CEH making big plays Brut Voch is still a master GM.

There is nothing unrealistic about that.

He's a RB. Chances are he's out of the league before he "blossoms". It's just the nature of the position and why taking one in the first round is a bad idea.

Not saying I love or hate him but objectively, you don't take RB's in the first round.

Are you CEH's girlfriend? That would be the only thing that would come close to explaining how much you defend this JAG.

No, he's not just a guy. He's better than that.

He is not nearly as good as a couple other RBs taken after him in the draft.

Both things can be true, but forgive me for seeing gray area. I forgot this was binary planet.

{shrug}

As I've said - the cost is sunk.

Expect him to be a burner all you want - he never was. Never has been and never will be.

That isn't his game. He can be effective in other ways that help this team win ballgames. Hell, he can be a driving force when called on (he has been at times). But the guy's not Chris Johnson - he doesn't have much of a long gear.

So if you want to get up in arms because a guy isn't doing something you should've never expected him to do - be my guest. It's like complaining that Brown struggles with speed on the edge - no shit. That's who he is. It's who he's always been and always will be.

At a point you have to look at the roster we have and ask how it can be utilized and that's where the conversation has to shift. We're about 18 months removed from the CEH pick. It's over. It's done. Now the question is how can we use him to win football games?

Lots of ways.

I'm not defending his struggles saying we have a second half of the season to go and one of the best coaching staff and I believe he has the moxy to give this offense a boost it needs. If 9m wrong I'm wrong. I stopped defending Hardman because he was a disappoint but I still think he will have one of those great exciting plays just not consistent that we need.

Why can't I have faith and believe in the players we drafted? I guess that makes me a homer we did just win four in a row. Our season is just about to take off and I believe Clyde will be a big part of that. If wrong Beach will address the issue.

why be a ****ing fan if you can't root for the players that play for your team ? You guys give up too easy. We still have another half of season and see where we are sitting in the playoffs. I'm going enjoy the turn around that they already started.
