Useful draft links...
http://www.hailredskins.com/MockDraft.htm
Has links to TONS of mock drafts... http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com Their mock draft gets updated fairly often, and for the week before the draft is usually one of the most accurate. They do a "where should they go" table that is excellent. And they have profiles on hundreds of players. http://thehuddlereport.com/top100/index.shtml Ratings of the top mock drafts. Find out who's accurate and who isn't. http://www.draftdaddy.com/blog/blog.cfm Courtesy of bill parcells and Tribal Warfare Last edited by htismaqe; 03-31-2007 at 08:53 PM.. |

It's good to see this area in the forefront again.
I can't wait to see all of the countless posts saying we should go LT in the first round even though nobody is going to be worth a crap at 24. |

I really follow the draft and like draft daddy a lot.... Unlike other sites -- where the people try to play "pretend scouts" -- these cats mostly link very relevant and updated news in their blog** I'd rather scan their blog and see what real scouts and coaches say about some player, rather than reading in depth-scouting reports by folks that never played football **blog: http://www.draftdaddy.com/blog/blog.cfm |

Draft Daddy's mock drafts are generally shit, though. Good scouting reports.

Only trust Pat Irwin at Nfl.com and the guy who writes for the Dallas newspaper. Both former nfl scouts I think.

I was just pointing out that I like the scouting reports at Draft Daddy, but there's some sites out there that are much better at predicting where a guy will be draft at... |

There are some great internet draft sites out there who actually go and watch the players. Two of them are linked in this thread. |

The way I see it is, guys like Gosselin and Kiper and some of the NFL.com analysts obviously have lots more inside info directly from sources on NFL teams. That's why their mocks hit a higher % of the time. That's why guys like Gosselin don't do their own player breakdowns. They don't have to, they pick up the phone and call teams and get some info.
drafthistory.com has a link on the left side of it's homepage on the top 10 players at each position. IF you click the name it brings you to a scouting report.

This looks like the best of the bunch. They don't appear to just throw names around. |

In DD.com's blog archives they have audio links to last spring.....They predicted Hali going to K.C. on ESPN radio in Kansas City well before the draft and told Miami's biggest radio station Jason Allen was going to the Dolphins well before the draft....must got more than 2 of 32 correct, I suppose? I, honestly, think DD.com, footballsfuture (awesome message boards) and Countdown are the best....But DD.com's blog is great -- just a ton of news links from real sources. They go out and find the info and let us decided. I like that. http://www.draftdaddy.com/blog/blog.cfm |
