Kelce: 1 Reception, 6 Yards in Week One

I was surprised recently when I saw that stat. My memory is a bit faded. Anyone remember why Kelce was so limited in week one? Was he off? Injury? Our scheme? Dolt scheme?

With Hunt gone and Hill hobbled a bit, it'd be nice for Kelce to have one of his patented big games on Thursday. I suspect Kelce will have a much better game this time.

You are correct sir. Happy to see Harris playing better. Chiefs need him to stay on point.

Kelce will be fine. Sometimes he has big games and Hill doesn't and sometimes it's the other way around.

I'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks Harris isn't as bad as people think. Seriously, when's the last time he dropped an important pass? I'm not saying he hasn't, my memory sucks sometimes.

He's still had a couple bad drops, but he's made up for them with big plays. Before Mahomes, it was mostly just bad drops.

Actually there are quiet a few of us that feel Harris is very soild in our offense.

It's just a select few that you could not please if you hung them with anew rope!

Except he gets penalized too much, including special teams.

Mahomes only threw for 245yrd (sounds funny but it's 2nd lowest of the season)

Hill caught 7/169/2 tds
Watkins caught 3/21

So Kelce has put up over 1,150 yards in just 12 games.

Kelce first TE ever to have 80 grabs & 1000+ yards receivng in 3 consecutive seasons. EVER. Yet in 9 games vs the doltz, Kelce has 0 TDs. That changes Thursday night. 87 gonna ball out. 151 yds, 3 TDs. March to the Super Bowl.

Kelce is the guy they always try to shut down. They couldn't stop Tyreek.

But Chargers do tend to shut down Kelce -- just like we have had a lot of success shutting down Keenan Allen. The game earlier this year was the first time he scored against the Chiefs.

Our gameplan was more conservative and Mahomes wasn’t quite as good in week 1
